Boeing AGM-86 ALCM

The AGM-86 ALCM (Air-Launched Cruise Missile) is a unmanned air vehicle carried by
B-52 Stratofortress
bombers to strike distant ground targets.

Operational since 1982, the ACLM flies at low altitudes along a preplanned route to avoid enemy radar.  The B model is nuclear capable.

The AGM-86A's first powered flight occurred on 5 March 1976.  They saw combat in the 1991 Persian Gulf War.
