Fokker F-100

The Fokker F-100 was derived from the successful F28 Fellowship airframe.  Re-engined with new-technology fuel-efficient turbofans and redesigned wings, other features include modernized systems, flightdeck and cabin interior.

The prototype F-100 first flew in 1986.  Production was shared with Deutsche Airbus, Shorts, Grumman, Rolls-Royce and Dowty Rotol.  IPTN of Indonesia also supplied components.

Fokker went out of business in 1996.
