Grumman F3F
|
|
The Grumman F3F was a continuation of the Grumman family of Navy
fighters. Starting with the FF-1 of 1931 and continuing with the F2F of
1933, the F3F first flew in 1935. The F3F was the front line Navy fighter
of the late 30's until replaced by the Brewster F2A and Grumman
F4F.
The
last front-line F3F was turned over to the Training Command in June 1941.
