Mil Mi-2 (Hoplite)

The Mi-2 is a turboshaft-powered version of the Mi-1 of 1948.  The Mi-2 first flew in 1961.  After development was completed, Mi-2 production was handed to PZL.  Over 5,200 were built with production ending in 1985.

"Hoplite" is the NATO code name for the Mi-2.
