Aerospatiale Dauphin

The Dauphin was designed as a replacement for the Alouette III.  The single-engined SA 360 first flew in 1972; the twin-engined SA 365 in 1975.  The U.S. Coast Guard purchased over 90 as short-range recovery helicopters.
