Turbomeca Marboré
Teledyne Continental J69

The Engine Specifications

The Turbomeca Marboré I was an enlarged version of the Palas and was first flown in 1951.

In 1951 Continental obtained a license to build the Marboré II, designating their version the Model 352.  The U.S. military designated this engine the J69.  The J69-9 produced from 660 to 880 lbs thrust.

Continental began adding transonic axial compressor stages.  These improved Model 356 engines produces up to 1,920 lbs (8.5 kN) thrust.
