Rolls-Royce RB.109 Tyne

The Engine Specifications
 
First run in 1955, the Tyne took over were the Dart left off.  An excellent turboprop, the Tyne had the misfortune to go into production about the same time the turbojet became the "in" engine for commercial aircraft.

Although not built in large numbers, the Tyne stayed in production until the 1990s.
