The Fieseler
Flugzeugbau was founded after World War I by German fighter
ace Gerhard Fieseler. Fieseler began making trainers and
fighters under license for the Luftwaffe in 1935.
The company's name was changed to Gerhard
Fieseler Werke in 1939 and continued producing aircraft through
World War II.
Fieseler's best known aircraft are the Fi 156
Storch and Fi 103 flying-bomb--better known as the V-1 Buzz Bomb. |
