Laister-Kauffman
was a manufacturer of civil gliders based in St Louis.
The company adapted it's LK-10 to a U.S. Army requirement for
a glider trainer in 1942. The company also built the Waco CG-4
under license.
In 1944, Laister-Kauffman took over Bowlus,
another glider manufacturer.
