In 1936,
Allen Meyers formed the Meyers Aircraft Co. to build biplane
trainers. After World War II, the company switched to low-wing
cabin monoplanes.
Meyers sold their aircraft production rights to
the Aero Commander Division of Rockwell-Standard in 1965.
Since Rockwell-Standard stopped production of
Meyers aircraft in 1968, several other companies have built
these aircraft in limited runs including Interceptor Corp.,
Prop-Jets, Inc. Micco Aircraft and LanShe Aerospace. |
