First
flown on 14 February 1926, the M-1 was T. Claude Ryan's first
original design. This aircraft could accommodate a pilot and
either mail or two passengers. The M-1 was used on the
pioneering mail routes of Colorado Airways and Pacific Air
Transport.
The M-1 was the basis for Charles Lindbergh's
"Spirit of St. Louis". |
