Sud-Aviation
was formed in 1957. The company's largest program was the Se-210 Caravelle. Sud-Aviation
also participated in the design and production of the Alouette
helicopter and the beginnings of the Concorde and Airbus projects.

1965: Sud-Aviation acquires Morane-
Saulnier.
1966: SOCATA is
organized as a subsidiary
1970: Sud-Aviation is merged with Nord-Aviation
and SEREB to form Aerospatiale.
