Avro Canada CF-100 Canuck

Design of
this two-seat, long-range all-weather fighter began in 1946 with the
prototype CF-100 Mk 1 first flying in 1950. The CF-100
was the first jet fighter completely designed and built
in Canada.
The Mk 5 was the most produced variant with over
300 being built. The last CF-100 was withdrawn from Canadian
service in 1981. |
