The Ju 52/3m saw use in the Spanish Civil War, first as a transport
then as a bomber. The type saw extensive use by the Luftwaffe as a
transport and airborne troop carrier. When production ended in 1944

After the war, the French built more than 400 for Air France and the
air force. CASA built 170 for the Spanish air force under the
designation CASA 352.
