Piper PA-24 Comanche

The prototype PA-24 Comanche first flew on 24 May 1956.  A classic among private aircraft, the Comanche combined low price with high performance and comfort.

By the time production ended in 1973, over 4,700 of this four-seat aircraft had been produced.
