De
Havilland Canada (DHC) was formed in 1928 as a subsidiary of de
Havilland Aircraft. Until after World War II, DHC focused
on producing Moth aircraft adapted for Canada. DHC's
first indigenous design, the Chipmunk, replaced the Tiger
