Pratt & Whitney F119

The Engine Specifications

The F119 was designed as the powerplant for the U.S. Air Force's Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF).  It beat the General Electric F120 jet engine in competition to power the F-22 Raptor.

To reduce maintenance P&W designed the engine to use 40% fewer parts than then current engines.  The F119 has vectored thrust and is stealthy.
