The
Rolls-Royce/Turbomeca Adour was designed to meet the
requirements of ground attack and advanced training aircraft, with
and without afterburning.
First flown in 1968, over 2,800 engines have
been sold with more than 7 million flying hours accumulated
(3/31/06).
The U.S. military designation for this engine is
the F405-RR-401. |
