The Laser 200 first flew as a Stephens Akro built by Leo Loudenslager in 1971.  By 1975 Loudenslager had almost completely redesigned the original aircraft resulting in the Laser 200.  With this aircraft, Loudenslager won the U.S. National Aerobatic Championship in 1975 - 78 and 1980 - 82.

Currently (8/7/06), plans for the Laser 200 are available from York Enterprises of Southampton, Ontario, Canada.
