Army/Air Force (1924 - 1962)

Cargo: Although the first aircraft designated a Cargo aircraft was acquired in 1925, it was not until the mid-1930s that aircraft that were more than staff transport were available.  With proper cargo aircraft, the designation for smaller transports was changed to "UC" for Utility Cargo (read it transport) early during World War II.
